How to tell if I have a bee infestation or just regular bee activity?
Seeing occasional bees in your yard is typical, but you're probably dealing with an infestation if you notice:
- a large number of bees entering and exiting the same spot on your property
- buzzing sounds from inside your walls or ceiling
- dark stains on exterior or interior walls from their honeycomb
Will the bees die during removal?
Because we understand the role bees play in our local ecosystem, we prioritize live removal and relocation of Honey Bees as much as possible. That being said, more aggressive or invasive species may require a different control method for safety reasons.
Can I remove a bee hive by myself?
Taking it upon yourself to remove a bee hive is NOT recommended. Like most stinging insects, bees can be really dangerous when disturbed and improper removal usually leads to the issue returning. Call professionals for help with your bee problem ensures both your safety and proper handling of the colony.
What's the difference between bees and wasps?
Bees, especially Honey Bees, are typically less aggressive than wasps/hornets and have a rounder, fuzzy appearance. And unlike wasps/hornets that can sting multiple times, bees can only sting ones.
